Our students' accomplishments were front and center during this month's Board of Education meeting on Thursday, October 24. The Board recognized the newly inducted members of the Maple Student Council. Student achievement and growth were outlined in a report on data from the Illinois Assessment for Readiness (IAR) and Measures of Academic Progress (MAP). In my school, I feel like that I belong and I am not excluded. I look forward to coming to school every
day because of my friends and because of the new things I get to experience and learn.
We have such a wide range of classes and each has a curriculum that promotes engagement, inquiry, innovation and creativity. It asks students to dive deeper into the learning, then apply it to real-world situations.
Maple School is One Herd, a community, and just a loving and caring building. It's like your home away from home.
